Both Cuomo and Costello seem to be fanning the flames with respect to the Baltimore situation this a.m. If any further trouble breaks out I got to think that CNN goaded the people into it based on their biased reporting and editorializing of the situation.
Both were focusing on the report that is/was supposed to be available on May 1st and what will happen when it isn't made public. How will the people react - insinuating that more violence will break out. Cuomo was pushing the fact that the President used the word "thug" in his comments and criticizing the President for his use of it.
Costello focused on the Washington Post story and had and interview with some guy that was basically supporting it and suggesting that he's seen that behavior in prisoners before. CNN seems to be complicit with the Baltimore Police so as to give them an alibi.
I was sort of half listening to this in the background as I was readying myself for work and the more I heard the angrier I got.

(25,285 posts)might not be released and no prosecutions will be announced on Friday. They are trying to say that they believe that proper care be given to this investigation so that it is done thoroughly and correctly. They are trying to lower the expectations of the people of the community so as to quell any violence.
CNN was fanning the flames so as to incite the people. That is wrong. They should use some common sense in their reporting so that they aren't the cause of any violence.
I said it before - the media in general are vultures - just waiting to pounce on any civil unrest. In fact - when watching the reporting from Baltimore this week - and I'm saying from all the cable news outlets - it seems that the show host at the time - whether it would be Anderson, Lawrence, Chris, etc - is just hoping that something will happen while they are on the air. Again -- that is just plain wrong.
