This is a follow-up on a previous thread from earlier this month, entitled Jeb Bush's most feared journalist is BACK.
S. V. Dáte is that journalist, and he has just published a new article in Politico, that is a must-read for the great number of people across the country who, aside from family name recognition, have very little idea of just who Jeb Bush really is. It is an off-putting, disturbing and infuriating saga that Floridians have had to endure ever since Bush showed up in the state in 1980.
The media outside of Florida has largely ignored/overlooked/slow-walked any kind of investigative work on this man, and how he has run roughshod over Florida for decades, and pushed a radical and reactionary agenda with the premeditation of a zealot. He has cashed in on his family's name and connections for decades, and it has made him very wealthy.
Jeb Bush represents the ugliness of greed, aristocracy, avariciousness and a domineering nature, and now is on the trail to seize unchecked power over this country in the same imperious way he, as governor of Florida, railroaded his brother into power via engineered voter suppression and orchestrated theft of the 2000 Election.
He has nothing but harsh contempt for anyone who disagrees with him, and most especially, the media's questioning of his policies and candor. Media investigation and unrelenting reportage is key to unpacking the secrecy around him and his shadowy business dealings, especially, and it is long past time to shine a harsh spotlight on him.
It will appall and enrage, to entertain the idea that this man sees himself as the next ruler in the Bush Dynasty.
Here is S. V. Dáte, who has a lengthy journalistic history following Jeb Bush in Florida.
Some excerpts from his outstanding and provocative piece:
How Jeb Bush Schooled the Florida Press, by S. V. Dáte, Politico, May/June 2015
The National Press Corps must quickly get up to speed on Jeb Bush and report it accurately and completely to the public at large, well before 2016, to avoid being saddled with the cloak of criminal malfeasance.
