Allen West Blames Football Injuries On Church-State Separation

In a speech to a Gladewater, Texas, conservative group last week, former Rep. Allen West blamed high school football injuries on the end of state-sponsored prayer in schools, saying that when he was in high school, “I don’t remember anyone getting carted off that field paralyzed.”

after a death on the field. Well before school prayer drew to a close. Including Towson High, where Mom and Divine were classmates.

Unless you were in the graduating class of 1962 or earlier, state-sponsored prayer in schools was against the highest law of the land. Speaking of high crimes and misdemeanors, when are you going to turn yourself in for torturing people and disgracing your uniform and the country?

And there are no other factors in play, no, not like the competition becoming much worse and the players willing to go to all lengths to get to play.
