I got on a list of Republican supporters years ago so I could get a little clue here and there about what they're up to. I've never given them a dime (and I never will, of course), but they still have me on the list. I'm fine with that, normally I just let the calls go to voicemail. But today I answered one, because my caller ID didn't alert me who was calling, and here's the deal. The voice on the other end of the line, which I would bet belongs to one of the volunteer robots from Campus Republicans, told me that if I donated today, certain big money Republicans would match my donation, thus doubling my chance of contributing to "Obama being a one-term President". Still didn't offer them a dime, of course, but I wondered who the "big money Republicans" were. My wife told me I should have asked him. Koch brothers was the first name that came to mind, but there are a lot of greedy pigs out there with big bank accounts.
