Couple married for 73 years die within five minutes of each other in separate care homesTheir son Doug said the near-simultaneous deaths are 'a blessing'
A couple have died within five minutes of each other in separate nursing homes after 73 years of marriage.
Lillian Lill Karr Wilson, 89, and William Wild Bill Wilson, 93, both suffered from Alzheimers and lived in two separate care homes for at least a few years before they died.
Their son Doug, 66, got two calls, five minutes apart, during the early hours of 7 April to inform him of the passing of his parents who met in high school before marrying in 1941.
Lillian had once said according to Kentucky.com: Im not going till Bill goes.

(14,921 posts)3. Very sad that they had to "live in separate care homes for at least a few years
before they died." Maybe there was a good reason for this, but without knowing the whole story it just seems sad that they could not be together.

(15,445 posts)4. They were 'together' in ways we don't understand.
Apart physically, but united by the FORCE.

With nothing to support it. Sounds like a deepak chopra belief.

prejudices, convictions, theories, superstitions, etc. etc. etc.
Whatever bloats your boast.

You have nothing to back up your assertion. Not sure why that's mystifying to you. Magical thinking can be harmful though, I wish you luck.
