Cheney releases book slamming Obama

Dick, Liz Cheney releasing new book slamming Obama

By Jeremy Diamond, CNN

Updated 10:50 AM ET, Tue April 7, 2015

(CNN)Former Vice President Dick Cheney is releasing a new book co-authored with his daughter Liz Cheney aimed squarely at President Barack Obama.

The hawkish former vice president's new book, "Exceptional: Why the World Needs a Powerful America," is slated for release Sept. 1 and is already available for pre-order on Amazon.

The book is being billed as a blistering criticism of Obama's foreign policy, claiming that Obama has abandoned the tradition of American leadership in the world.

Obama has "significantly diminished" American power just as the threat of terrorism is "rapidly growing," Cheney said in a statement his publisher released Tuesday. Cheney also accused Obama of abandoning U.S. allies and emboldening enemies.

No former Vice President has ever criticized a sitting President the way Cheney has.
He thinks his opinion still counts!

All this is, is more red meat for the rightwing media to pronounce as the greatest book ever written!

The Republican party is diminishing in size with each passing day.

its' former weight. Some day we will hear a slight popping noise and that will be the end of it. The nefarious types in the GOP will have completely eaten the Republican party up from the inside.

know, yet. I guess he figures it can't hurt to build support for his crimes against
humanity.

I love how the neocons are losing it over the Iran deal.

Exceptionally twisted, that's Cheney.

I don't understand why you think Obama could put him in jail anyway, Hillary gave Bush/Cheney the green light to start the Iraq War by voting for it.

and if you expect them to be grateful, you don't understand the nature of bullies.

Five Deferment, Coward, Liar, Torturer and less popular than Satan, War Criminals should not be roaming around free, let lone writing books filled with more lies.

They should be charged, prosecuted and convicted.

It was so predictable that if these war criminals were not held accountable, they would do even more damage to this country.
