Remember I took my granddaughter to see "Selma" back in January


Freshman in college. She loved it. Said it was educational. She started reading up on the event.

Then came the anniversary celebration of 50 years. Marta and I have given her a small collection of autographs over the years.

I got the bright idea to get her an autograph from somebody that was there. I'm sure you know who he is in the photo below.

It got here yesterday. Thank you Congressman Lewis!



She is a strong D. Imagine that. She occasionally reads the DU.

Marta and I are taking her to lunch , then to see "The Sound of Music" on the BIG screen on the 19th for the anniversary special: http://www.fathomevents.com/event/the-sound-of-music She got her $ last month. This will last a lot longer.

Someday after the POTUS retires, maybe she can get him to sign this.
