Chris Hayes just had on a phenomenal interview w/the young man who took took the SC shooting video

What a good and decent human being this young man from the Dominican Republic is. He was on his way to work and saw something and recorded it. He checked the police report and knew the cops were lying and then he went about trying to see how he could get the truth out. Said that people in other nations watch the US and he didn't think that this was what we needed the world to see from us.

he certainly deserves it, how refreshing to see this in our sick and jaded world. I hope all good things for him.

Thing is, people already know we do this. White people know we have been oppressive to people of color for a long, long time, but are too comfortable to put a stop to it.

What he did was provide evidence for the people who think this is not who we are.
