Warren would be my first choice, but I'm afraid that she won't run.

(7,830 posts)But there is still time for her to change her mind. In the meantime, in reality, we need to find more Progressives to run against the centrist with transparency problems who wants a "warm purple space" with rethugs.

I like Robert Reich and would seriously consider him but, I am in no hurry for him to declare.

(94,737 posts)...it seems as though the lesson of Elizabeth Warren has been missed. You can't convince someone to run if they don't want to, and even if you could, getting someone to start up from zero this late in the game is a recipe for disaster.
