Is this the world's loudest PURR? Pet cat Bluey registers 93 decibels - as loud as a Tube train

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3021300/Is-world-s-loudest-PURR-Pet-cat-Bluey-registers-93-decibels.html

Bluey's purr has been measured at 93 decibels, which is louder than the official world record.

The cat is currently in a centre in Cambridge and looking for a new home.

Her growls are so loud they stop other animals from sleeping properly.

______________

Who measures this stuff? Bluey's just got good pipes!

Ive had him laying on my tummy getting pets and scratches and brushed for 30 minutes straight - nothing. It's pretty weird.

My old deaf dog barks extra loudly so the fact that this cat is deaf and purrs so loudly makes sense.

What a fuzzy cutie! I hope she finds a home soon!

I had a cat that meowed really loud and never purred. He is why I ended up buying a house here instead of just renting. There was no way I could sneak him in as loud as he was. He was super friendly too. So, anyone he ever met he tried to make friends with then and greeted them loudly with his sweet but loud voice. He didn't know a stranger. He had to be euthanized in November. He had cancer. I still miss him so much. His name was Yogi and he took my heart with him when he died. I don't think I will ever be able to love anything that much ever again. He was truly special.
