The SCOTUS has declared that public school graduations should be prayer-free zones, but you cannot attend or watch or listen to many government events and speeches without having to witness a prayer, and maybe more than one or, at a minimum, God Bless America. Even the pledge of allegiance had the words under God shoved into it.

The SCOTUS handily excused itself. (Opening each day with "God save this honorable Court" is mere tradition. Um, so were prayers at school graduations and daily school prayers and yall got rid of those.) I rather imagine it would do the same if someone challenged praying aloud in Congress, at inaugurations, etc.

And, last, but not least, it enacts laws that have no redeeming social value because some fundies think their particular religious view should be secular law.
