Olympic champion Bruce Jenner plans to complete his gender reassignment surgery this spring so that he can reportedly be ready to hit ABCs top rated dance floor this fall. Bruce Jenner is ready for some ballroom dancing, but not as the man we all have come to know. The 65-year-old is in the process of transitioning from male to female and a new report claims that he wants to debut the new Bruce on Dancing With The Stars.
Both of his step children, Rob Kardashian and Kim Kardashian competed on DWTS, and he has given this a lot of thought. Bruce had silicone breast implants put in a few weeks ago, an insider claims. He went with a smaller implant because he didnt want to look The report claims that he will have a full gender reassignment surgery in May or June, so that he can make his on-screen debut as a woman on the fall season of Dancing with the Stars.
DWTS had Chaz and it worked out amazingly well, a source recently told HollywoodLife.com. And once Bruce fully transitions, the producers have an open invite for Bruce to join the cast in a future season of the show. They would love it! And they would welcome her with open arms. Chaz appeared on the show in 2011 and was very well received. We think this would be a great idea for Bruce. Bruce would also like to be on the cover of Vogue once his transition is complete.
He thinks it would be the perfect platform for him to have his big reveal as a woman and what better place to do so than on Vogues cover, our insider tells us. Its been a dream of Bruces since he was a teen. Hes always wanted to be one of those elegant, yet fierce supermodels who were adored on magazine covers. Hes always envisioned himself being on an exotic beach posing for the cameras and looking glamorous as Madonnas Vogue songs plays.

(108,997 posts)though he's said he identified as female since he was a teen. I understand that he was young in his first marriage, and at first he thought cross-dressing would be enough. But by his third marriage he knew -- he just couldn't face the truth, or share it with the woman he loved.
Gay and transgender people aren't the only ones affected by a culture that denies equal rights to GLBT. Their spouses suffer, too; and when parents are unhappy, so are the children.
People who are against same-sex marriage or laws protecting LGBT rights don't realize how many people are hurt by society's pressure on GLBT people to enter into "traditional" mixed-gender marriages. But would they want their children to unknowingly marry people who were hiding from their orientation or their gender identity? Assuming the answer is no, then no matter how they feel about GLBT people, they should be supporting full equality for all.

(4,631 posts)I don't frequent glamor magazines, but how often do they position a 65 year old in their spreads?

When Chas Bono appeared on DWTS, he was the male so no one had to lift him.

(3,212 posts)If Jenner is transitioning to a woman, Jenner will dance as a woman with a man who will have to lift her.
Good luck with that!

(18,497 posts)I think that show would be a bit more than someone 65 would be able to keep up with.
The few times I have watched it young people are left panting.
