(72,300 posts)An unidentified man was taken into an ambulance for treatment after the gunfire erupted at the Fort Meade campus Monday.
Police shot at an SUV after its driver used the vehicle to ram a set of gates at the National Security Agencys headquarters in Fort Meade, Md., according to a report.
Its unclear if anyone was injured in the Monday morning incident or why the person drove at the gates on the secure campus, some 22 miles northeast of Washington, D.C.

(146,329 posts)An SUV has zero chance of accessing that building. It's all changed since I left there in 1969, but it's even more secure now, and it was damned secure then.
A foolish thing, with the expected consequences for the folks in that SUV. Stupid.
