realize or let it be known that about 1/2 of of Americans live on the edge of poverty, and would be there if they lost their paycheck for a few weeks.

We could all speak out, but far too many Americans IMO fall for the propaganda they are fed. And I think many just don't give a damn, they recognize directly or indirectly that "the system" is failing them.
