31 states have heightened religious freedom protections
By Juliet Eilperin March 1, 2014

The recent flurry of state bills giving religious exemptions from certain laws -- including the Arizona law that Gov. Jan Brewer (R) just vetoed -- raises a question: How many states already provide heightened protection for the exercise of religion?

31 states have sharia laws on the books right now, Indiana is just the latest to force, by law, the views of a small and dying bunch of so-called "Christian" heretics insanity on us all!

Our freedoms as Americans are slowly being legislated away.

Where is the outrage? This country was founded to get away from state religion imposed on all citizens and here we have well over half of America being assaulted by these republican religious loons!

The founding fathers must be spinning like tops in their graves!

So, it seems to me, at least, like the kind of state legislative tactics that ALEC got so good at using. So the question that springs to mind is who is funding this sub rosa effort?

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
