GOP Rep claims Obamacare costing $5 million per enrollee. Turns out he's off by about $5 million

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/03/25/1373201/-GOP-Rep-claims-Obamacare-costing-5-million-per-enrollee-Turns-out-he-s-off-by-about-5-million

Texas GOP Representative Pete Sessions (R-Math Challenged) Recently claimed on house floor that the cost of each enrollee was costing the U.S. treasury $5 million. He came up with that estimate by taking a $108 billion estimate cost and dividing by 12 million new enrollees.

The only problem with that? 108 billion divided by 12 million equals about 9,000. So he was only off by about $4,991,000.

From this morning's Dallas Morning News:

Pete Sessions is one of our local teabagger members, so I can understand how he may not be able to do basic math. But to be off by that much? As a Texas resident, I hope this is not a reflection of the quality of education in this state. Sadly, it just might be.

These idiots,

These complete idiots that make such stupid-stupid-stupid errors of fact are creating the budget and deciding on women's reproductive rights.

You know why they keep trying to ban abortion?

I'll tell you why.

If a woman realizes someone with the moral and intellectual capacity of an angry nine-year-old has managed to impregnate her, she will run out and receive an abortion so quick you would think she was carrying the gene engineered cross of a human and a lemming.

They do this because it increases their chance to successfully reproduce.

then you get an important insight about how their proposed budgets work.

"Decimal places", "carrying" and multi-digit numbers are apparently have some kind of liberal bias thing.

I was sitting in a doctor's waiting room and heard something about "Obamacare" and "5 million dollars" and "isn't it outrageous?" I wasn't really listening but I'm assuming this must be what they were talking about.

(And one of the other patients was a Teabagger who stood up and started ranting about "that damn Obamacare" and "isn't this just what you'd expect.&quot
