Idaho Senate approves decriminalizing marijuana extract oil

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho Senate has approved legalizing oil extracted from cannabis plants to treat children with severe forms epilepsy after lengthy and sometimes tearful debate from lawmakers urging the bill's passage.

Senators voted 22-12 on Tuesday to decriminalize the oil, a non-psychotropic extract of marijuana.

Proponents of cannabidiol oil argue that it reduces the amount and length of seizures in children with intractable forms of epilepsy.

By restricting this to use by children with epilepsy, is the future applicability of cannabidiol to other afflictions; say, Trigeminal Neuralgia (Facial Pain), a non-starter?

I wonder who voted against it.
And if they can sleep at night knowing little kids are having seizures so violent that it throws their body out of the chair they were sitting in.

How could those legislators who voted against it just sit there and not do something to help little kids that have that problem?
How could they think that it must be gawd's will so we shouldn't let science intervene.
Do they really think that using some extract from cannabis is that evil?
Do they think that an oil like that can't be restricted and controlled?

I swear to gawd, even if someone ever did somehow got ahold of a whole vial of it, and then rubbed it all over his body and drank it, there wouldn't be any damage to that guy.

Unless he fell asleep in a fire pit!!!!

And considering the tens of thousands of alcohol-related deaths every year, keeping any form of cannabis illegal is outrageous.
