The picture is depressing. The comments are pure gold and almost restore my faith in the human race.

or social science faculty person employed there must feel? Yeah, I suppose they're happy to have a faculty position, but really. Were I employed there, I would probably have to take a shower every day when I came home from work just to wash off the taint of association with those cretins. I wonder if faculty governance means anything there.

It conveys that lack of awareness, as well as a lack of self-awareness.

Imagine what they say to each other in their private circles. Within their safe group there are the smart ones who know that was is said in the inside circle cannot be repeated to the outside world. But in that same circle are the bravados who say everything that's on their mind without any filters. And because no one openly disagrees with them they begin to think that their views reflect the norm. That's when catastrophe is likely to strike.

They should all go down, because the reality is that even the ones that know better secretly hope that their buddies get away with their indiscretions.

Now I realize they use an "excuse generator" but did they even think about that answer? What exactly was the poor judgement? Specifically, what was the act of poor judgement." Because the poster conveyed a very clear message the only answer I can come up with is that it was poor judgement to flaunt their gender and racial basis's. They didn't deny they existed, they were apparently surprised at the response. I am sure someone in authority signed off on the ad.

and their 1993 long distance ad showing people from around the world talking to each through a series phone lines that connected the continents, except that all of the continents except Africa were depicted with humans using a phone whereas the continent of Africa was depicted with a monkey with the phone. No different than the ad at the OP link. It's the same old same old.

They couldn't even be bothered to put the black guy or the woman in second...Of COURSE the guy that could be in GQ wins...of COURSE. I guess allowing the woman to win was too much and the black guy, well you can see what they think of the black guy.
