SMH @ the revisionism

Are we really holding out Hillary Clinton for opprobrium and censure for voting for the Authorization For The Use Of Military Force Against Terrorists that was passed in the immediate wake of 9-11 ?

It passed the House Of Representatives by a 420-1 vote and the Senate by a 98-0 vote.

You mean when she voted with 59% of the Senate Democrats including Joe Biden and John Kerry who President Obama has deigned to make one and four heart beats away from the Oval Office.

She has been in the main stream of her party forever and I suspect your problem is as not as much with her as it is with the Democrat party in toto.

So the majority of Democrats, who voted against the thing... were they smarter or more knowledgeable than Hillary? Or less patriotic?

If one hundred marchers are marching in one direction and one marcher is marching in the other direction, maybe he or she is out of step.

That means every Democrat from the most liberal to the most conservative supported it including the senior and junior senator from Massachusetts.

At the time I agreed with 99.9% of my elected Democratic representatives and senators, including the junior and senior senator from Massachusetts, that the use of force was justified against those that perpetrated the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
