Sun comes up in the West - flying pig alert

Glenn Beck announces (for the second or third time) that he is no longer a Republican and says:

I’ve made my decision -- I’m out,” Beck said. "I’m out of the Republican Party. I am not a Republican. I will not give a dime to the Republican Party. I’m out. I highly recommend -- run from the Republican Party. They are not good."

I pray to all the gods, real and imagined, that he does not announce he is going to become a Democrat. Probably stick to that vague Libertarian label.

I'm assuming this is one of those deals where he claims the GOP isn't conservative enough for him. Tommy_Carcetti Mar 2015 #1

I highly doubt that he's come to some sudden epiphany and decided to break good and become a liberal or even a moderate left of center Democrat.

between the old guard Republican Party and the teabaggers. At that point, he thinks he'll be in the catbird seat since his propaganda show was instrumental in creating it.

He's not going to be a Democrat, nor should we want the poor, deluded fool.

At some point, he might get his wish, the bible humping racists going their own way, leaving the GOP what it's been for most of its existence, the party of plutocracy. Whether it would survive the split is anyone's guess. The Federalist Party and the Whigs didn't survive the exit of the devils they'd made deals with.
