Well.. with Netanyahu we have hit the fucking bottom..

Next up is the inevitable drive to war..Which will happen if we lose the White House.
The continued austerity cuts to education and social programs..Unleashing of more hate by the fucking
homophobes, racists, xenophobic misogynists..I’m telling you things really fucking suck right now...

And it all can be summed up with this..I mean this guy has been causing havoc with us for years and keeps getting caught and keeps getting off.. This scumbag typifies the worst part of human existence yet
is considered an important political operative by the right..

I’m gonna have 2 beers half valium and fucking just crash..
Can’t take it anymore..I hate us....

nominee for President that we can keep the White House. Maybe a bit of hope to regain the Senate just because of the seats in play but that is doubtful.

Clinton says U.S. could "totally obliterate" Iran
http://www.reuters.com/article/2008/04/22/us-usa-politics-iran-idUSN2224332720080422

On the day of a crucial vote in her nomination battle against fellow Democrat Barack Obama, the New York senator said she wanted to make clear to Tehran what she was prepared to do as president in hopes that this warning would deter any Iranian nuclear attack against the Jewish state.

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran (if it attacks Israel)," Clinton said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

"In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them," she said.

"That's a terrible thing to say but those people who run Iran need to understand that because that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic," Clinton said.

Drives to war are driven by the profit making opportunities they create. It takes a statesman to rebuff these pressures, and there aren't any statesmen left in the developed world, just mere politicians. We had these wars before (insert any politician's name here) and we'll have them afterwards and the only thing that really changes is the name of the person giving the speeches.

To stop war, really stop it, we need to have a wide understanding that violence is not a solution to problems. Not merely not-an-acceptable solution, but rather not a solution at all, except as an absolute last resort in self-defense, strictly defined.

Violence is a means to impose will in the short term, but that imposition only lasts as long as the force is applied - and during, and afterwards, a far greater force of resentment and resistance is generated which makes any settlement by force inherently unstable.

the problem in the US is the republicans . they will use netanyahu and others for their own agenda. but even if israel elected the most liberal candidate who would agree to a palestinian state things would not change with republicans in the US.

We can only imagine what he might have accomplished with a "traditionally American" Congress that actually worked in the interest of the American people.

It is a horrible story but has nothing to do with Netanyahu or the Middle East, that I can see.

Anyway: Netanyahu can't influence what happens in America UNLESS the American Right want him to, and find him a useful tool. With Netanyahu, Israel has hit rock bottom; Palestine has hit rock bottom; but the Americans hit rock bottom by getting 54 Republicans into the Senate, of whom 47 are COMPLETE lunatics who care more about thwarting Obama than about their country or the world.

Let's hope that you can prevent the Right from getting even more power in America. And that we can in the UK and Europe. And hoping that the next election in the UK doesn't bring another nasty tool of the Right! (haven't forgotten the traitor Blair!)
