(99,710 posts)By the way the 57-42% figure is up from 50-49% same time last year.
Bill Clinton has a 65-31% favorability rating.

(5,562 posts)She's lower now than anytime since 2008. And still dropping.
Hillary is as divisive as any Bush. Do people really want to go through all these scandals with the Clintons and Bushes over and over again?

(99,710 posts)I will support that candidate which the evidence suggests is best positioned to beat the Republican and let the future take care of itself.

(5,562 posts)That doesn't indicate "doing something right". Just sayin'.

(99,710 posts)PRINCETON, N.J. -- Hillary Clinton is one of a few potential 2016 presidential candidates to have a significantly higher favorable (50%) than unfavorable (39%) rating among the American public. And the 89% of Americans who are familiar enough with Clinton to have an opinion of her is more than any other potential 2016 presidential candidate. Clinton's relatively high scores on both dimensions give her a better starting position regarding her image than other competitors would have in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

(99,710 posts)However that poll was taken during e-mail fever and she is now once again a partisan figure... All in all, good, the CNN gasbags, errrrrrr... pundits looked kind of unhappy when discussing it.

(99,710 posts)Why do you think Karl Rove and Bill Kristol are pining for a hotly contested Democratic primary, because they want us to win, I don't think so.

(4,220 posts)And and and she HAD A SERVER in her house... I believe it was next to the (not)missing Rose Law firm records and of course the pieces of a watermelon that killed Vince Foster... Oh wait, I think I am getting mixed up a bit...
Hey, and what about the Clinton Foundation taking money from Saudi Arabia. That money could have been used for a better use, like buying a bigger piece of Faux News. Oh, wait...
Maybe people aren't as stupid as they seem

(5,815 posts)It simply asked favorable vs. unfavorable. Not "proud to call Hillary Clinton president" which is a complete fabrication. I may have a generally favorable view of Secretary Clinton (and I do), but I also want her nowhere near the White House. (EDIT: First paragraph is wrong. I didn't see the question on page 5. Must read more carefully).
Also, the poll results track more or less what we already know - When she is not much in the news, her favorable ratings rise. When attention is focused on her, she becomes a more divisive figure. She is now tracking in the lower end of her general approval rating, where she topped out at the height of the 2008 primary.
Secretary Clinton is not a staggeringly adored politician, no matter what the propaganda. She tends to generate partisan feelings and divides people whenever the public is forced to deal with her. When she goes away, people like her more.
Not exactly the ringing endorsement some would have.
We need someone else. Anyone else, really.

23. Thinking about the following characteristics and qualities, please say whether you think it applies or
doesnt apply to Hillary Clinton: (RANDOM ORDER)
Does not No
Applies apply opinion
Someone you would be proud to have as president
March 13-15, 2015 57% 42% 1%
March 7-9, 2014* 50% 49% 1%
March 14-16, 2008* 57% 42% 1%

(99,710 posts)Plus it gives me the opportunity to say that's up from 50-49% at roughly the same time last year.
BTW, I am not disputing she's a polarizing figure but as long as our pole is even a little bit bigger than their pole I'm comfortable with that.
