Stray dog kicked by driver for being in his parking bay returns with a pack of friends… and trashes

They say you should let sleeping dogs lie - advice that one driver in China paid the price for ignoring.
He drove back to his home in Chongqing to find a stray dog lying in his favourite parking spot, so he got out and kicked it.
However, as far as the dog was concerned, that was not the end of the matter.

Not sure what really happened here but the idea that dogs would take revenge by going after a man's car is unfounded. The car may have run over an animal or food which then became splattered at the top of that front wheel well.

Many dogs are beaten and abused by people who believe that dogs plot and plan and seek revenge. For example, some people believe that their dog pooped in the house as "revenge" for them leaving. The truth is more likely that the dog is scared to poop in their presence because they have abused it or punished it in some way.

This is a cute, I suppose, story but it feeds the unfounded idea that dogs engage in revenge. And that idea has led to the abuse of thousands of innocent dogs.

smelling like the human who kicked one of the dogs, is targeted as an interloper. So they harass it to try to drive it away.

smeared something alluring on the car and then was conveniently present to document the result. I don't see dogs, even kicked dogs, doing that on their own the next day....

Side note, those look like Jindos, a Korean breed. I came across one in my neighborhood with a much too tight 4' chain around it's neck. Gave it to a woman who fosters dogs and she found it a great home with a man who loves hiking with it and his other Jindo dog.

Because the Jindo is an active and intelligent dog, it requires frequent interaction with people or another dog in the family. For some the Jindo may even be too intelligent, for it will commonly think for itself. The same intelligence that allows the dog to learn commands and tricks very quickly can be a bit too much to handle. If left alone for a long stretch, it finds its own entertainment. A young Jindo may attempt to climb over a fence or wall, even by way of a tree or digging under, or tear up the house if confined indoors.

Jindos serve as excellent watchdogs, able to distinguish family from foe, friends from strangers. The Korean Army is known to use Jindos as guard dogs at major bases. Because Jindos rarely bark aggressively, especially in familiar environments, an owner may lend special credence to the warning of his/her pet. Many Jindos do not take any food from anyone other than their owners.
