I speak only for myself.

Obviously most of you have spent too much time in Politics. Most of you are so far removed from the Middle, Working, and Lower classes that you don't even understand where a person like me is coming from.
Howard Dean said that Elizabeth Warren needs to turn down the "Soak The Rich" rhetoric because "Americans" love "wealth creation".

What a maroon. I love "wealth creation"? Yeah right. I could care less about "the rich". The only time I give them a second thought is when they get caught stealing from the rest of us because they just aren't rich enough.

Some of us out here don't want or need Yachts. Or Summer homes, or Diamond necklaces. I don't need a brand new car, or the latest fucking iPhone.

What I want... what I need, is to make a living wage so that when I work 70-80 hours a week, at the end of the month I have a few bucks to put into savings instead of playing the "well, if we pay 2/3rds of the power bill, we can afford to get all the medications we need" game.

I do not judge my value as a human being and as an American by how much shit I have accumulated. I judge my value as a human being when I look at my son, who sees an old woman struggling with her groceries and runs over to help her. That is how I know I did well. Not by driving a new BMW, or loving "wealth creation".

I know I said I speak only for myself, but that's probably not exactly true. Hell, I bet there are enough people just like me, to help carry an election were someone to climb out of their bubble and stop talking out of their ass.

Unfortunately, they are so busy trying to scratch out a living imposed on them by the more evil and unscrupulous of the 1%, that they don't have the time or energy to pay that much attention to politics.

That is what people and groups the KKKochsucker Bros., Rmoney, Murdock, the reTHUGliCONS, Teabaggers, Faux News, etc. are counting on.

The fewer people that vote, the better chance they have.

Although it does seem that some might be seeing the light, we can only hope it is enough to keep them out of power.

I think most, if not all, politicians are so more removed from reality that they will never understand the struggles many of us face today. This is why I am not a fan of politicians. Politicians are not my friends. I have no allegiance to any of them, even the "good" ones. The political system stinks, set up only to help the 1% and their friends, and I include pretty much every politician in the 1%, even if they technically don't belong by definition.

No one is truly working for the average American, no matter what they say. Maybe Bernie. Maybe Ms. Warren. But I've seen this story before, and they never end up on our side.

Wish I could be more positive, but that's American politics for you.

I care about people being able to afford to live a life with some level of dignity (throughout their lives and in to retirement).

This is what I care about. I don't care about making sure that a few people become as rich as kings and queens while so many others struggle to make ends meet.

22. I've disagreed with Dr Dean before. I disagree now.

Certainly, "Soak the Rich" should NEVER be spoken by a Democrat.
"Everyone pays their fair share" should be the slogan.

After WW2, Republican President Eisenhower called on the RICH (War Profiteers) to help pay down the Debt and set the top rate at 91%.
That worked.
The debt was paid down,
America prospered,
and people still got RICH.


Lets try THAT again.
