The U.S. is not the only country negotiating this deal with Iran. Have we heard any reaction from the other countries in the negotiation process regarding the letter the 47 Repug senators sent to Iran? Usually the foreign press is more forthright with their commentary. I'm curious.

(37,364 posts)other president, Bibi. Kind of telling since he was all in everyone's face about Iran last week. Myj guess is that most other nations understand that they keep their nose out of other nations domestic politics.

(25,270 posts)I got to believe that those governments are pissed that a group of Repug senators from the U.S. are trying to sabotage their efforts. The negotiations have be going on for a long time now. All these countries have time, people, energy and money tied up with these negotiations - and to have this letter sent by the Repugs trying to sink this deal has got to piss them off. I'm thinking that either heads of the government from these countries or the negotiators themselves from these countries have had to weigh in on this letter. If not - at least the press in those countries must have some opinion. Why haven't we seen that reaction here?
