Oh, & his "Top Gun" excursion in his flight suit, too! How much did the jet fuel cost for that ridiculous display?

for W's* vacation travel.

Thing is, I can't help but feel it cost U.S. a lot less to have him on vacation for over 25% of his term than if he'd stayed in DC. A trillion here, a trillion there and soon, you're talking about real money.

That's not including the cost of flying to the west coast. It was just for keeping the ship out for a day longer than planned, and for flying the plane onto it. I never heard a peep from them about the cost of either that or the fake turkey photo-op. Or, his jaunt over to Beijing to spend a week at the Olympics, getting drunk and groping the female beach volleyball players.

It used to piss me off when people would militarize the Presidency when they referred to Bush as the Commander-in-Chief. Even though I couldn't stand the asshole and I never voted for him, because I am a U.S. citizen, he was still my President. But, given that I wasn't in the military (and have never been) Bush, not even in the remotest sense, was my Commander-in-Chief.
