Ferguson Racist Obama Poke, Is No Joke!

From VOX reporter Jenee Desmond-Harris we have a story about some findings of the Department of Justice germane to Ferguson. It is aptly titled "Here’s the racist Obama joke the DOJ uncovered in its Ferguson investigation". The web link actually is more succinct but not totally telltale, while still being apropos - stating - "ferguson-investigation-obama-joke". It is a snide snip found in official emails as noted by VOX's Jenee - that;

In a report that's expected to be released in full this week, the Justice Department concluded that Ferguson, Missouri, police relied on tickets from racially skewed traffic stops of African Americans to help balance the city's budget, and used excessive force against the city's black residents, according to the New York Times, the Associated Press, and other news outlets.

It seems the investigation also uncovered additional disturbing material that suggests a culture of racial bias among those who hold power in the city: according to the Associated Press, the report includes a 2008 message — which appears to be an attempt at humor — from a municipal email account that says President Obama wouldn't be in office long, because

The offending party's name, who should be fired for how bad he/she got it incorrect, is no where near as important as the fact that the PROTESTERS were Right; and the Ferguson officials/police are SO Wrong. We just witnessed a homeless man being shot to death - this week - in Los Angeles. Racism in America is NO Joke! - We still have serious issues of arrested human development - in what they continue to call the great United States of America.

For, we are NOT - truly - United!
