MSNBC has replaced Ronan Farrow, Joy Reid. Caught it the first time today.

I'm not sure if this is good/bad or indifferent as I'm pretty much fed up with MSM.

http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/msnbc-live-to-replace-ronan-farrow-joy-reid-starting-monday-1201442177/

MSNBC’s emerging focus on breaking news will come to the fore Monday, when the NBCUniversal-owned outlet launches “MSNBC Live With Thomas Roberts” Monday between 1 and 3 p.m. ET.

The new two-hour block will replace “Ronan Farrow Daily” and “The Reid Report.” Beset by significant ratings declines, MSNBC has been emphasizing reports on breaking news, rather than the issues-based discussion for which Farrow and Reid have been known. Roberts had been hosting “Way Too Early,” a preamble of sorts to the network’s flagship morning program, “Morning Joe.”

The new program’s title — “MSNBC Live” — is evidence of the network’s new lens. The anchor’s name is listed second, and the network and its live report get more prominence.

Farrow and Reid have taken up new correspondent roles at MSNBC, and they are expected to contribute to various programs. Farrow will also produce primetime specials featuring interviews with newsmakers and celebrities.

“Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are expected to take over “Way Too Early” on an interim basis until a permanent host can be found.

More liberal/sane viewers tend to be at work or in school during the day. I'm not sure any replacements they find will help their daytime ratings.

The one flashing red light of who msnbc should dump is never brought up, joe the schmo. I don't watch him so I wouldn't miss him at all.

But yeah, I miss her, too. It makes me mad that they yanked both of those shows, but kept Joe's.

is that he's either auditioning for a spot on Fox or he wants to be President Donald Trump's press secretary. He cannot get enough Clinton bashing. I miss Joy!
