(17,301 posts)It all started when they selected our president for us back in 2000.
I doubt we would even had had a war with Iraq if not for the actions of the Dancing Supremes and their selection of the bushes as our president.
I doubt rampant global warming would have caused every one of my waterers to have cracked from the cold last week if not for the selection by the Dancing Supremes of the bushes.
They are the source of all horribleness in our society.

I can think of three justices who should not be on the court, and it's not because they are old. It's because they never recused themselves when they should have.

(15,144 posts)My husband was laid off just after Thanksgiving last year and we had to go to the federal exchange to get our health insurance. He had a heart attack a few years ago and cannot get insurance at all. At any price. If the SCOTUS guts this law, we will be up shit creek without a paddle. We're in our early 60s. This is incredibly scary. I wrote to our asshole republican representative and he sent me a bull shit letter about personal responsibility and "market forces". DAMN.

Some people will think ... "Hey?!? That could be me!"; but too many posts will be just plain mean.

(15,144 posts)I corrected the grammar on it in red pen! Sorry, I can't help myself. That's a great idea, though. I am going to write back to him if SCOTUS does the unthinkable. Hmmm. Wonder if I can sue my representative for taking away my health care?

(10,497 posts)When my employer switched health insurance companies I saw $600 being taken out for my last college aged daughter. That was what I had been paying before the change. My dumbass did not check my pay stub for awhile. When I did I discovered it was $600 twice a month to insure a healthy 20 year old, I had her check OBAMACARE since I do not claim her on taxes. This will be the first month on her new insurance and I am saving $850 a month and she has a policy that makes my upgraded policy look like crap!
While insurance companies make more money under the Act, I pay a lot less!!!
