I don't see how asking Congress to be Pro-America is a bad thing. Instead they side with Russia, Israel, transnational corporations who have no loyalty to America, and others whose mantra is to make government so small and weak that they can drown it in a bathtub.

I think it'd be great if we had politicians in office who thought that the Government is a good thing. The group in there now in the majority hates Government and are trying to make it no longer work for the rest of us.

I'm not being jingoistic or even patriotic. I know we have problems. I just wish those in power worked for us instead of against us. Asking them to pack it up somehow makes me on par with the freepers?

I've been told this many times, mostly by right-wingers, when expressing things I wanted to be different about this country (such as not being in such-and-such war, or not incarcerating so many people, etc.) It was a really pathetic sentiment when they used it. Everyone thinks their side is right, so I don't see it as much better for us to be saying it. Speaking just for myself, I doubt I will ever use that expression, America, love it or leave it.
