The former governor conducted all his communication on his private Jeb@jeb.org account and turned over the hand-selected batch to the state archives when he left office. Absent from the stash are emails the governor deemed not relevant to the public record: those relating to politics, fundraising, and personal matters while he was governor. (Tampa Bay Times)

(43,870 posts)To the average person, a Governor who conducted ALL his business from a private email account calling out another politician for doing the same will be viewed as hypocrisy.

(71,265 posts)I have trashed all recent gd threads on Hillary. I am not in the mood today to deal with her detractors.
That is not to say that people don't have honest opinions here that differ from moine but i just not up tp dealing with it today.

Does DU really need to do the Koch Bros' and GOP's dirty work for them?

(71,265 posts)And this is a huge story today so it will be discussed but a few here are showing their glee at this news and I find it sad.
But we are all entitled to our opinion.

(15,438 posts)before she even announces! That way, the Koch Bros and Neo-Cons can save a lot of dough that they can then spend on more Neo-Confederates to infest Congress.

(15,438 posts)for doing exactly what he's done in his desperate act to define her even before she's announced a run for the White House. He needs to do this. She beats him in each and every poll and apparently also the internals that he's seeing.
John Ellis Bush is a typical Republican hypocrite, but thanks to a complicit U.S. M$M, his disinformation (and omission) will go viral in seconds while Democrats are relegated to correcting that misinformation on liberal blogs.

(47,578 posts)And by that I think you know that I mean: Is it wrong when he does it, but okay when we do it?
BlueCaliDem
(15,438 posts)That's the definition of hypocrisy.

(47,578 posts)I get it, and I agree with you, Bush is being a HUUUUGE hypocrite on this.
I still think Clinton fucked up, though. Just because somebody who also fucked up is calling her on it doesn't make it okay that she fucked up.

So, no, I disagree. She didn't, um, eff, up.

It's sad and depressing that you cannot see what damage you are doing to the person you say you support.

Remember all that shit about terry schiavo recently. He released all that shit, and much of it makes him look dumb.
Who thinks we'll see Clinton's emails? She's going to be running from this story for a long time.

(51,745 posts)He doxed his constituents. He did not get their permission to release the emails with their private info. In CA, that is a violation of law; I assume FL has a similar law.
