Think maybe it's time these families pick another lawyer instead of Benjamin Crump?

Has he ended up on the winning side of a single one of these cases?

Look at all the families he's represented in police brutality and quasi-police brutality (Zimmerman) cases. I can't think of one where Benjamin Crump ended up getting justice for his clients.

I recommend Gloria Allred. She gets shit done.

Maybe they need a few lawyers to show up. bravenak Mar 2015 #1
It does seem like he over-promises and under-delivers. Oklahoma_Liberal Mar 2015 #2

He is on the same left as Johnny Cochran was — and he's based in the Florida.

Some aspect of these recent cases must fall under one of his firm's practice areas.

I can't fault him. Crump is fighting a system that is stacked against him from the start. Lawsuits have been filed that have at least brought some financial compensation to some of the families of the victims of police killings. It might take years to settle them all.

He's helped raise public awareness and the public outrage over so many well publicized injustices has brought about increased scrutiny of police behavior. He was actively using the media and the attention got the DOJ involved in his high profile cases. By raising civil rights questions, his complaints against local powers have resulted in most recent ruling against Fergusson that will bring about change. Communities are more engaged and realize they do have the power to change their future and their local government through activism and voting.

If you mean that the police involved got off scot free, Crump has nothing to do with that issue. The problem lays with a local DAs, paid to serve and protect the very government that rigs the system to protect cops and shield the city from trials or admitting fault and paying huge settlements.
