Arizona voted for on a ballot "independent redistricting" which the equal # of Republicans & Democrats Independent Commission drawing the lines led the Democrats winning the House in Arizona of all states in back-to-back midterms. Currently Democrats have a 5-4 edge, I have a Democrat when for years it was gerrymandering like crazy with this part of Mesa with the entire Fountain Hills & a lot of countryside land. One of the goals was to create districts fair to the interests within the lines so before, city concerns were diminished by all the country land inside lines.

The site was hacked shortly after the midterms so I'm guessing the GOP aren't too happy. Jan Brewer famously fired the chair or the head of the Independent Commission until the judges ruled that she couldn't do that
