Report: Russian agents behind terrorist bombing of Maidan celebration in Kharkiv, Ukraine

Ukrainian Intelligence: Russia special agents organised terrorist attack in Kharkiv

Suspects say they were going to receive USD 10,000 from Russian agents for the attack

Ukraine's Security Service Head Valentyn Nalyvaichenko says a terrorist attack in Kharkiv that occurred on February 22, was organised and financed by Russia's Main Intelligence Directorate.

Eleven suspects have testified that they received weapons for the attack in the Russian city of Belgorod from two Russian special service agents.

One of the suspects was a ‘Berkut' policeman who took part in confrontations with Euromaidan protesters in Kyiv last year. One of those arrested spoke about the explosives he detonated.

Uhnope will accept any and every anti-Russian piece he finds as absolute fact. there are others who will accept any statement they find on alternative media as the unvarnished truth.

Now, I don't know about the second group, but I recently had a talk with uhnope, where he made it perfectly clear he finds people on the left to be utterly and completely despicable and without merit as people or as a political grouping. so, that's the angle he's coming from I suppose.

The truth is the exact opposite of what you wrote, and I will cut and paste from the thread you link to in order to show DU that you either have some serious issues with telling the truth, or with reading comprehension. My words:

...I wrote in support of progressive values and human rights, and that every "leftist" or "far left" movement I have studied so far in no way supported progressive values or human rights. For you to call me a reactionary for your own, mysterious reasons is bullshit.
...
When I said "left", I clearly indicated "far left" or "leftist," not "left of center" as in progressive. I clearly and repeatedly endorsed progressive values, which is left of center, of course; I am a progressive.

if you don't want people to know what positions you hold, maybe don't present them publicly. On the internet. Where nothing goes away.

How can you read what I just posted, which is from the thread you are citing, and directly contradicts what you're saying, and still maintain that my position is the opposite of what I said it was, in that very thread? Are you just trolling?

It's getting to be pretty basic stuff. WTF? If I posted that I'm short, would you accuse me of bragging that I'm tall?

I asked, if the Russian left stood up, would DU support them?

You went into a long, spittle-flecked rant about Stalinism, leftist terrorists, Muammar Ghaddafi, and how "in your studies" (cough) leftists have never supported anything progressive or geared to human rights.

It's pretty fucking clear where you stand in regards to the left, and you can try to use the meaningless, ambivalent, and completely subjective word "far' to try to grease your way out of your own words... but it doesn't work. Sorry, I'm familiar with this tactic.

with the new Cold War narrative. It has been explained that those who have learned from the negative track record of the US are considered "dupes" and "useful idiots" to the Kremlin. Joe McCarthy is alive and posting on DU. Several of them.

Don't post anything that doesn't affirm your view. I would bet any amount of money you aren't criticizing the random video clips, pictures of Kissinger, and posts from RT and Lyndon Larouche that are the mainstay of the Putin lickspittle. Unlike in Russia, we can post any news we want, not just the news that supports the interests of power and war, and reporters aren't murdered for the crime of telling the truth.

How is it you managed to avoid the thread that has the document you couldn't so easily dismiss? http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026288703
The truth is what any rational person could tell was going on: Russian empire building and war of aggression, planed before the fall of the government in Kiev. Yet some here fall all over themselves, to justify the killing of Ukrainians because they don't hold the political views you think they should. The only question now is will some continue to lie in order to promote the Russian empire and war on the Ukraine.

11. "(US) Reporters aren't murdered for the crime of telling the truth" - tell that to Gary Webb

Webb, author of The Dark Alliance series about CIA drug running during the Bush Sr. Administration, was suicided by TWO pistol shots to his own head. Two. Pistol shots. To the head. He didn't miss the first time. Think about that.

I usually wait a few days and then, if there appears to be something others aren't covering, go into that angle as deeply as possible. I would also post some sort of condolences to the slain opposition figure - which I did.

So far, the assassination, and official Russian response, seems to have received considerable scrutiny by the western press.

I find Jeff Wise' theory on MH370 extremely plausible in the context of Russias invasion of the Ukraine

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/02/jeff-wise-mh370-theory.html

From the New York Magazine piece, I like one commenter's point:

"One thing is for certain, it's the happiest coincidence for Putin EVER. While we were all trying to figure out where this plane went for 60 days, he got to invade the Ukraine Peninsula unoticed...hmmm"

False-flags are a key pillar of this military doctrine - "within chaos there is profit" - and clearly this has been to form for Putins conduct in this war.

I'm not sure he's writing it though.

It's an interesting narrative so far.

I'm sure there'll be a few more twists and turns before the finale.

That Putin was permitted to attack the Ukraine. Whether that was by design or due to the weakness of Western officials, I don't know. One also wonders how Snowden plays into this.
