DU weirdness...

I'll click on a post, read it, then return to forum. Names and other bits are lined out, no avatars, most text remains. Refresh doesn't resolve it, have to close the page and re-open it to get the normal appearance.

What's up with that? Is it happening to anyone else?

2. The same thing happens

sometimes when I use my laptop to access DU. It's an old computer, so I've always thought that it was all my fault. Maybe not. It never happens on my Kindle or my phone, though.

6. I usually assume it is my internet connection.

I have the slowest speed that can still be classified as broadband.

I have trouble viewing videos as well.

I am on a waiting list for new equipment.

I have been on this list for over a year.

No prediction as to when new equipment will be installed to take care of problem.

I live in a very rural area.

My only other choice (besides my current land line phone for internet access) is satellite.

I get about .5 mps. Have you ever checked your internet speed?

7. I'm not having those problems,

but in order to get out of a thread I've posted in, I'll have to go back to the topic line at the top of the page, ie, Home, Latest, Greatest, etc. Have no idea what's causing it, but nothing else gets me out of the thread.

8. I've never had that happen to me, and I use a connection so slow that McConnell could outrun it.
