Young men are being told that simply thinking of a woman is sinful. In the case of this man, he did more than just think, causing him major emotional turmoil that led to his religious extremism, and ultimately to ISIS.

Christopher Hitchens once said he was surprised to learn while in Afghanistan that most of the young fighters he met were virgins.

There's a great book on this as well, written by a Canadian-Egyptian woman called "Sex and the Citadel." Very informative.
