Christie At CPAC: We Need To Tell Obama's White House 'To Shut Up'

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) told a crowd on Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference that he believed his so-called "explosive" style is needed in the GOP because someone needs to tell President Obama's White House "it's time to shut up."

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, sitting across from Christie onstage, listed a string of words used in the press to describe him (“explosive, short tempered, hot head, impatient.”)

“The word they miss is passionate," Christie said.

"But, sit down and shut up?" Ingraham shot back.

“Yeah, well, sometimes people need to be told to sit down and shut up,” the governor said as the audience applauded.
