Yes the 5:00 slot is bad; he did better at 6:00 a year or so ago. Few can watch the 5pm show. appalachiablue Feb 2015 #2

Schultz has a lot to offer, and I like his focus on labor, popular people issues and guests like Sen. Sanders and attny. Mike Papantonio. He's the only one on MSNBC to cover the TPP that I remember.

His show comes on at 2:00 PM. Since his show appeals to workers, what other way can they think of to discount his affect than by putting his show on at an hour that workers are guaranteed not to be watching. And, unlike some of the others, his show is not re-broadcast later in the evening. Maddow is on 3 times, beginning at 6:00 PM in the West, then at 9:00 PM and again at midnight.

I'm retired so I can watch Ed most days.
