Philly Cops Kill Man For ‘Driving Without Lights,’ But Guess What This Surveillance Video Shows

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/02/23/philly-cops-kill-man-for-driving-without-lights-but-guess-what-this-surveillance-video-shows/

Local authorities, however, claim they pulled Tate-Brown over in his 2014 Dodge Charger on Frankford Ave., close to Magee, allegedly because he was driving with no lights on. During the traffic stop Tate-Brown struggled and wound up mortally wounded by “official” gunfire.

Cops claim Tate-Brown was shot dead for supposedly reaching into the passenger side of his vehicle for an allegedly stolen handgun by the car’s center console. Officers claim the handgun was loaded at the time, too, but there is no way they could have known that until later.

Another discrepancy – Mildenberg stated last week that video footage he and Brown-Dickerson had seen at the headquarters of the Internal Affairs Division presented Tate-Brown being shot while running behind his car, near the trunk. That’s quite a distinction, and a good many steps away from the allegedly loaded weapon in the vehicle.

Oh, and again, that video also showed Tate-Brown’s lights on at the time.

If I look out my window and see wet streets and puddles I can conclude with some confidence it rained. It could be that 10,000 swans flew over and relieved themselves simultaneously but I'm sticking with the rain theory.

If a guy driving a newish car at night is stopped and shot by the cops, it could be that he is white. But, I'm sticking with the probability that he's not.

We all know that politically "inconvenient" folks tend to die. But does anyone know if any PD has ever been convicted of hiring themselves out as assassins for pay? This would be the perfect way to get rid of someone. Grand Juries tend to cover up crimes by police, meaning that no one would ever think to investigate if there was a motive for the killing--like say, a life insurance policy. Or taking out a business rival.

Internal Affairs is an absurd joke.

A few good ole boys gather behind a locked door to decide the fate of other good
ole boys. They drink coffee and shoot the shit for a while to make it look like it took
some time to come up with the most plausible story that the media will fall for. In the
meantime, the good ole boys whose fate is being decided on get free vacation time.
At the end, as it was meant to be, everybody goes home with a grin on their face.

I went to school in Philadelphia from 1970-1974, i.e. the Rizzo era. During that time, the Philly cops were definitely NOT our friends. Looks like today, they're even more trigger-happy than they were then. In those days, they mostly just beat people up with their nightsticks.

With the goal of compiling a database of the number of killings, they chronicle and sort all the news reports from around the nation that cover police involves killings.
If you subscribe to their Facebook feed what you'll see over time is sobering, to say the least.

who then lie to cover up? Seriously, how many cannot conceive of handling any kind of situation without resorting to deadly force?
