The last half-hour. He was talking about how corporate shut down the bush AWOL story. Wow. I wish I had caught it all. Did anyone else see it?

(70,740 posts)by a (general?). He repeated what he has said before, named "the highest echelon" at CBS as caving to Shrub's pressure. Georgie jumped in when Dan said that support was lacking from management, Georgie spurting, "Even when MISTAKES ARE MADE?!1" And Dan said, "Yes, even then, but I'm not acknowledging that mistakes were made."
I'll repeat: It was all true about Shrub, everything, not just the AWOL thing, but every crapping thing else. I'll bet he has a secret manuscript, ghostwritten of course, listing his REAL "accomplishments," which are: Getting revenge on all his and his crappy family's enemies, with Iraq being a family cartel deal. He started by taking revenge for himself on Poppy and Jeb; then Saddam, Dan, and who knows however many more.

(6,670 posts)The most depressing thing about America isn't the neocons. It isn't the tea party. There aren't very many people in either group.
The most depressing thing about America is the people who swallow the shit over and over, knowing better, and HATING anyone who tells them it's shit until a decade after they've swallowed it, when they're finally ready to blame it for their dysentery.
ALL THIS WAS OBVIOUS ABOUT BUSH BEFORE HE GOT ANYWHERE NEAR BEING "ELECTED". WE LET HIM RUN ANYWAYS. WE DESERVED HIM.
End of rant.
