Jon Stewart leaving/Bill O’Reilly staying

Jon Stewart is perhaps the greatest “weapon” we liberals have/had in our arsenal. Now we’re losing him.

O’Reilly is perhaps one of the most despicable creatures on TV. But he’s not going anywhere.

Every time you think it can’t get worse, it does. Either the gods are screwing with our heads, or this planet is a bad dream directed by Quentin Tarantino.

in the era of Jerry Springer and Sally Jesse Raphael. Are there any programs that encourage thought and reflection any more? The emotional pap appeal is wearing thin ...

called Journalism.

I find it incredible that so many people buy into the Fox propaganda. But as H.L. Mencken said, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people."

Sigh.
