STELTER says he has interviewed six of O'LOOFAH's co-employees in Buenos Aires, all of whom dispute everything O'LOOFAH has said, with one of them Eric ENGBERG, on the air now. STELTER says O'LOOFAH has refused to respond to contacts.

ENGBERG says he refused to go on O'LOOFAH's show so as not to "argue" about what he/ENGBERG is saying. Most egregiously, a video clip of O'LOOFAH where he said that he was the ONLY CBS reporter in the riot, that the rest were HIDING. ENGBERG is furious over this, used the "LIE" word.



ON EDIT: Replacing the "O'LOOFAH" with "O'REILLY" in the title so that he won't miss it all in his constant Googling of himself!1

ENGBERG says, no personal animus, just that O'LOOFAH is not a real reporter.

12. It' from the Andrea Macris lawsuit. Billdo basically got nailed for peing a perv and masturbating

while talking dirty on the phone with her. She got paid off to the tune of $8 million or so if I remember right. Transcripts of the phone calls were released that made it pretty clear she also had tapes.

The way it went down made it obvious Billdo was guilty and she did have the tapes. First Billdo is all indignant and blustery over such outrageous accusations, even had Bo Deitl on his show vowing to go after her, expose her as a phony and take her down. Then all of a sudden, it was STFU and pay up! Had to have been when her lawyer played the freakin' tapes for his and FOX "News"'s lawyers.

36. If those transcripts were phony, she had a real expert write them up. They captured Billdos speech

pattern perfectly. That along with the big payoff is enough to know she had tapes to back her up. Olbermann realized that too. He had a save the tapes campaign going on for awhile. He was trying to get pledges from viewers to match what Macris might get from the lawsuit so that the tapes could be made public. Too bad that didn't work out.

If Macris would have settled for half a million or something like that, I may have been inclined to believe Billdo. Her getting the big bucks tells it all. It's just too bad we will never hear the tapes. Billdo fans can blow off the transcripts (if they have even heard of the case) but the tapes would be creepy enough to ruin him.
