One can't possibly be "correct" when it comes to a non-factual statement.

The only war zone was on the Falkland Islands. O'Reilly was not on the island.
Therefore, he was not in a war zone. He said he was. He lied.

And they would have to be de-programmed to see how cultish and misinformed they are. I have a couple of family members lost to the cult of Fox News. They have become belligerent and hateful over the years they've consumed Fox News. Really sad.

it has been a clever (like a fox) business strategy. They get most of the wingnut viewership as the (not-really) only "conservative" network, while other networks are less trusted and have less ratings from RWers. I doubt anything is going to happen to Billo the Clown, though.

Recently "discussing" O'Reilly ( arguing ) over what began as a friendly dinner had a right winger in a pickle. Said person's last testimonial was that Billo made a ton of money doing his show. OoooKaaaayyy...

for believing the rest of the world is nuts or against you. It's called paranoia, and Pox promotes it.
I watched a relative find Pox News on our TV and then go into a trance, sitting there fixed on the screen making no movements or sounds.
They get 3% of the people watching them and 97% watch other things. It's a niche audience with no where else to go.

20. A couple of years ago I watched half a room full

of people go into a trance watching FOX.

I was in the hospital waiting room. The assistant turned on FOX and half the room gathered around the TV. It was funny to watch because when I complained and she turned it off, it was as if a switched was flipped. Everyone watching suddenly went back to talking and reading. They didn't even discuss what they watched or that it was turned off.

behind their tag line "fair and balanced" means everyone else is lying. Pox is un American and a domestic terrorism threat. As such, they should be prosecuted under the provisions of the Patriot Act.
