Of course, once removed from everything they hate and fear, here, they'd just start hating and fearing each other. It's what they know, it's what they are, it's what they do.

I was wondering about exactly the same thing yesterday. I agree with the same train of thought but then, it seems there is a certain part of our population who thrive on the rush of anger and the aggressions resulting from overload, so how bad is giving them what they thrive on?

My wondering also led me to imagine what else could rid humans of hatred in general. I somehow ended up thinking about ebola and if, maybe, there were some consequence for overt and strong hatred of any kind... What if people who have such hatred would contract ebola-like condition and would die a death as ugly as their hatred with one caveat, if they were able to eschew the hatred they could be healed.. like with a day or two to consider before reaching the point of no return. Just a thought that made me go find something else to think about!
