The party power brokers still haven't learned that "business as usual" is a poor motivator for people who are falling behind more and more every day.

Plus, the Republicans will pull every single dirty trick they know, crossing the line into racketeering the way they have since Nixon.

Plus, hate sells well to angry people.

I'm bracing for 4 years of some right wing dumb fuck who will do as he's told in the White House.

With any luck at all, he'll be in there for the next crash, which is going to be a doozy since they learned no lessons from the last one and passed no regulations on financier gunslingers.
