I've been through two ice storms and a blizzard that we lost power in for over a week and two hurricanes with much the same result, all in all I think the ice storms and blizzard were easier to deal with, at least they don't come with clouds of voracious blood draining mosquitoes you can't keep out because all your windows and screens are six counties away.

Lucky for me I have a short commute, still not good. It's the "morans", that you have to watch out for. One person flew out right in front of me, they nearly did a 360. Lucky for me I was going about 10 mph, as the snow was coming down hard. Where the hell did they have to get to so fast?
