http://thefreethoughtproject.com/intruders-broke-womans-house-called-9-1-1-cops-showed-killed/Police say Betty Sexton called them for help so police could remove two intruders from her home that she shared with her boyfriend....
According to Kennedy, her boyfriend told police that the gun was not loaded or functioning, and when the cops ordered her to put the weapon down, she cooperated.
Despite complying with the officers orders, Officer LaDoniqua Neely shot Sexton, killing her.

It's starting slowly, but the worst departments are starting to be confronted by the fact that forefeiture laws might have made them fat, but they didn't make them judge, jury and executioner.
The DOJ has a lot of work to do.

The cops are killing people at an alarming rate in that town. For purposes of comparison, the last cop to fall in the line of duty in that town died in 1948.
