A Sioux Falls physician who ran for U.S. Senate is trying to raise $400,000.

Bosworth was supposed to stand trial two weeks ago on election fraud charges but that trial has been delayed until May.

Right now she is circulating letters and pamphlets that encourage supporters to donate money to her legal support fund to help her defend against the charges of perjury and making false election filings. She was charged with those crimes back in June after she lost the Republican primary. She was arrested for allegedly turning in petitions that had her listed as a petition circulator on dates she was actually out of the country.

Bosworth writes in one pamphlet that she is hoping to raise $400,000 for her defense fund because 'backing down isn't in my blood.'
