Bellevue West grad takes Managed.com from parents’ basement to multimillion-dollar company

When Tony Valenti launched server and website management company Managed.com from his parents’ basement as a college student in the early 2000s, he was forging a new frontier.

“It was an interesting time. I would kind of call it the Wild West of the Internet,” Valenti said.

He was competing with many others just like him: people with a little bit of money, some hardware and programming knowledge.

Since 2004 when Managed.com was founded, Valenti has grown the business from the basement to a multimillion-dollar company with Bellevue headquarters and nearly 40 employees.
