Trial of would-be bombers of Victoria legislature on Canada Day in 2013

‘The thought of what we’re doing makes me feel sick,’ bomb plot suspect told undercover cop

On a surveillance video played for a jury, John Nuttall tells an undercover cop that the thought of killing people makes him sick, but adds that he believes it’s something that has to be done.

The video captures Nuttall and his wife, Amanda Korody, discussing whether they should go ahead with a planned attack at the Victoria legislature on Canada Day in 2013.

Nuttall says he hopes moderate Muslims will be woken up by the attack, and questions why Jews “whine, bitch and moan” about six million Jews killed during the Holocaust.

“What about the six million — well, it’s probably 10 million — Muslims who died at the hands of NATO? You can’t keep a count, how many.”

And he tells the cop that he believes it was the Jews who stood to benefit from First and Second World Wars.

“It was the Jews all along and it was all about the formation of Israel,” he says. “Right? Am I right or wrong?”
